My journey with digestive health began at a very young age. Since childhood, I frequently experienced problems such as diarrhea, acidity, excessive burping, and bloating. At that time, I used to think these issues were simply caused by eating something wrong. Like many people, I would sometimes take medicines from a nearby chemist or rely on simple home remedies like Triphala or traditional digestive tablets. These small solutions helped temporarily, and life continued as usual.
However, the reality was that digestive problems had been a constant part of my life since childhood.
Things started getting worse when I entered college and later moved into professional life. Earlier, these issues would occur only two or three times a month, but gradually they became more frequent and severe. I began experiencing repeated diarrhea, needing to visit the washroom multiple times a day, bloating immediately after meals, and constant discomfort in my stomach.
Eventually, the situation became so frequent that even the local chemist advised me to consult a doctor instead of continuing with temporary medicines.
Around the same time, I also started noticing hair fall, weight loss, and weakness, which made me realize that the issue might be deeper than I initially thought. I first consulted a well-known MBBS doctor in my city, who suspected a stomach infection and prescribed medicines. I visited him several times and underwent several tests, including LFT (Liver Function Test). The reports came back normal, but my symptoms continued.
Later, I decided to consult a gastroenterologist at one of the most trusted medical institutions near my city, PGI Rohtak.
After carefully listening to my symptoms—
— several tests were conducted. Eventually, I was diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) along with certain vitamin deficiencies.
This was the first time I had heard the term IBS, and honestly, it was frightening at first. I was prescribed several medicines and advised to follow strict dietary restrictions.
I was told to completely avoid many foods such as milk and dairy products, sour fruits, and several other items, while also maintaining a very controlled diet.
I followed everything strictly for months. I took all the prescribed medicines regularly—including Rifaximin 550 mg, which was quite expensive—and carefully followed all dietary restrictions.
However, even after months of treatment, my symptoms did not improve significantly.
This phase of life was extremely difficult. My health started affecting my confidence, daily routine, and mental well-being. I found it hard to travel because I constantly needed access to a washroom. I became afraid of eating many foods because I never knew what might trigger symptoms.
Sleep was also affected. I would often wake up early in the morning and struggle to fall back asleep. My mind was constantly filled with thoughts and worries about whether this condition would remain with me forever.
At one point, the frustration and helplessness became overwhelming. Everywhere I looked for answers, people said the same thing: IBS takes years to improve, or sometimes it never fully goes away.
But deep inside, I refused to believe that I had to live with this problem forever.
My sister then suggested trying Ayurvedic treatment. I consulted an Ayurvedic doctor who prescribed herbal medicines along with dietary guidelines. I followed that treatment for several months with great hope, but unfortunately the improvement was still limited.
Later, I also explored yoga and naturopathy approaches, which finally started giving me some relief. But I still wanted to understand the deeper root causes behind digestive disorders.
This led me to begin deep self-study about gut health. I started reading books, studying research, and learning about the mind–gut connection, nutrition, lifestyle factors, and the science behind digestive health.
Over time, through consistent learning, experimentation, lifestyle changes, and a deeper understanding of gut health, I was finally able to transform my health and overcome IBS completely.
Today, I live a normal and healthy life.
My personal journey taught me that digestive health problems can affect not only the body but also confidence, lifestyle, and mental well-being. Because I have personally gone through this difficult phase, I deeply understand the struggles that people with IBS face every day.
That is why today I dedicate my work to helping and guiding people who are dealing with similar digestive health challenges.
My mission is simple:
to help people understand their gut better, avoid years of confusion and frustration, and move toward a healthier and more comfortable life.
